Welcome to my world. A little bit about me... My name is Jeremiah Jones, better known as "IAMJYOUNGIN". I'm a (Northside) Long Beach, Ca. Native, Entrepreneur & Motivational Speaker, Actor, Hiphop Recording Artist, Business Owner and 501c3 Nonprofit Organization CEO.
The team and I decided to create a dope platform that showcases all things " IAMJYOUNGIN ". This site will be an experience for all my supporters who want to have EXCLUSIVE insite on my future projects / UNRELEASED MUSIC and Direct To Consumer [ SUPER FANS ] purchases & more.

My Story
My music background stems generations before me. My Great Grandfather was the Late Blues Singer Percy Mayfield, who wrote and published over 300 songs, including "HIT THE ROAD JACK" for the Late Ray Charles. My Great Grandmother Tina Mayfield was one of the BiGGEST West Coast Blues Promoters booking everyone from Fats Domino, Lowell Fulson, B.B. King, BiG Joe Turner, Billy Diamond and more. My father Ed Jones invested in and help launch the music career of " PROBLEM " who now goes by the name of " JASON MARTIN ". Together they worked with Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, DJ Quik, Kurupt, Mista Fab, Jim Jones, Rodney O and more.
Growing up as a kid, I always saw celebrities at the local basketball games or while being at the recording studios with my father. It was nothing new to me... I always felt like I was one of them myself. I new that I was different and destined for greatness. I didnt know what I was going to be when I grew up, but as time progressed, I begin to take a liking to music. I was always around it from birth and finally decided to showcase my talent. When I turned 15 years old, Moms & Pops bought me and my brother Josh a recording studio and I begin to learn how to record, engineer and mix my songs using PROTOOLS. In the beginning, it wasn't the best sounding music, but my Pops always encouraged me to keep going and after a few years of putting out countless music projects and videos... I begin to find my sound and image. Friends, family and strangers all begin to tell me that I had it! To me I been felt like I had "it", but I realized all the years of staying consistent while working on my craft, experimenting with different flows, beats and song arrangments leveled up my skills and overall sound.
Keeping GOD first and still on my grind, I'm very fortunate to have recieved opportunities from Top Dog of TDE and been in the rooms with Larrance Dopson of 1500 or Nothing, Warren G, Problem aka Jason Martin, Akon, K-Boy, DJ Quik, Mike and Keys, Snoop Dogg, Steve Lobel and many more. I take nothing for granted... I still have to proove myself to my music peers and GROW MY AUDIENCE. I've learned that this business can be cut throat and people only show up when you blow up. I'm built for it though... I have more than what it takes, "IT"S IN ME, NOT ON ME". As I continue to release music, show up on your cellphones, computers, social media pages & television screens, I promise to give you my best body of works...
